The Estrela da Ria Formosa Boat Tours are an immersive journey through the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
The destination can be to visit the islands of Farol and Deserta, to watch dolphins and to sail in a group or privately in this part of the Algarve sea. Estrela da Ria Formosa was born in 2014, it is a Nautical Tourism company to make known, through different experiences, the beauty of the Ria Formosa and its Natural Habitat.
Created as a Nature Reserve in 1978, the Ria Formosa in the Algarve was reclassified as Ria Formosa Natural Park in 1987. Recognized for its great diversity of fauna and flora, it is today one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal and covers an area of about 18,400 hectares along 60 km, from Garrão beach to Manta Rota beach.
The mission of Estrela da Ria Formosa is to provide to all our clients a unique experience, through a boat or jeep tour, showing the beautiful landscapes, the natural species, as well as the stories that involve the Ria Formosa and its islands.
